Caraher is shooting 25 percent from 3. Much worse when you take out the cupcakes. Champagnie is shooting 26 percent from 3.
Roberts has less offensive skill then many members on this board.
Neither PG can shoot. And their are no posh players on the roster.
What kind of offense will score points in the BIG EAST with a roster like that?

I am not sure if they are 10th in defense but they are 4th in scoring? Do you think our team is the 4th best scoring team in the league? I know you are trying to win an argument. But you have no idea as usual what you are talking about? Did you consider pace of play? Probably not. Overall our defense has been ok. At times we have played well. At times we have gotten killed. Again not playing with any size has hurt us. Our second team, who is made up of players to slow, to short, or to skinny hasn’t helped things.
If the 8th best players best attribute is shooting and he can’t shoot, yes I say that’s a problem.

Yeah, but one has been a no show all year, he won't even be playing overseas, Heron sucks this year.   Atleast LJ is doing something though not much.

Why do you think Herons rebounding has gone down so steadily throughout his career? 

so let me understand this...You believe 3 games is a better sample size to support your position than the 11 BE games he’s played which supports mine?

This is why rational debate is non existent on this board.

It’s not about sample size, you child. Anderson was able to open two of those games and part of Arizona State up and play his style. He made it fast and sloppy. Roberts is three times the player in that type of game.

Teams in conference play do more research and understand tendencies as well as player and coaching strengths and weaknesses much more than OOC foes. I predicted exactly this. There was no way guys like Rutherford would continue to get a free pass for such blatant weaknesses. I honestly don’t think Miller and Huggins warched any tape on us at all.

I never once claimed Roberts to be good. You and your clown posse were the ones touting him and slamming Mullin for not using him last year!

Roberts is a projectable player who still needs 20 lbs and major skill development to even approach his potential.

He’s a half court player. He needs to be in a system that values possessions on both ends and one that gives him a chance to reload. 

Lower rebounding #s usually indicate a tired player.

Right he’s lost a step. Maybe he’s not perfect for Anderson’s system. He’s also missed countless numbers of good looks and made dozens of poor decisions. Not Everything is Anderson’s fault, Middle Ground
