I'll believe all these guys transferring out when I see it. Nothing more than conjecture at this point and we've seen this movie before.

He was mostly invisible this season with a lot of garbage time stats. Let's be honest the kid regressed. He was never as good as his billing. It's not like the team was winning games with him. Not a big loss by any stretch. Addition by subtraction. Will be good to get the younger guys some more minutes.

Is this post self-parody?

Do you think we would have won either of the 2 big east games that we have actually won without him?  If so, did you actually watch those games or are you just making this post off of your memory of the Arizona game in which he did not play?

Are you trying to support a pro-Heron argument based on the fact that they won 2 games in which he played? If so, that's pretty lame and does nothing to support your position.

Speaking of lame, Heron's won ~ 65 games over three years on teams not coached by Coach Home Run.

You must be new to reading Johnny23’s posts. He’s just stupid. My best estimate is that he is one full standard deviation below the mean IQ.

*TonyD begins to google deviation, notices his last search of power bottom, and goes back down another 3-hour pornhub rabbit hole*

I would have figured SJUFan would have been the one to hurt his ankle with all the backtracking. Boom goes the dynamite.

Heron won’t be the last player to leave early this season.

And that helped him so much in his role as team leader this year. Sarcasm intended. Yawn.

It helped him this year in the same way that coach Home Run's record at UAB has helped him to a 2-9 conference record this year. See also: petard, hoisted on own.

So anyhoo let's recap: you're such a huge St John's fan that when one of the players suffers a career ending injury you don't care because he wasn't as good as you thought he might be and his career ending injury might be beneficial next year. If so it's a shame he didn't suffer a career ending injury earlier. Or at least get hit by a bus or something. Stay classy my friend.

LJ should be getting 20 shots a game minimum now.

He didn't regress. He didn't forget how to play basketball. While Heron is somewhat of a prima donna he is a talented one. As a coach you have to motivate and put players in a position to be successful.

Combination of Heron dogging and Anderson jerking him around was bad mix for a senior. Should have got Heron cooking early and often in games and let the dominos around him fall. Not the first time or last a new coach and senior bump heads. However a seasoned and experienced coach like Anderson should have figured this out because this team could have been better.

Unless we somehow strike gold in the spring recruiting I can't see this getting better.

I have been one of herons biggest critics. I never once thought he was dogging it.

Dogging it might not be best choice of words.

This is Dave, Amase.  He's running this site similarly to how this guy gained his popularity.

mjdinkins... the website aka community has been running for 11+ years without ever asking a dime from you or anyone.

I'm a fan just like you or anyone else. I try to offer insights when I can and I try to provide an environment where you can  read and express yourself freely. You can disagree with what I have to say just as I'm able to disagree with you. Discussion and debate is why we're here.

I know you enjoy taking shots at me whenever you can and not sure as to why but don't attack the website.

Clueless as I was already aware.
