This and the first G'town game were the only two games we had no chance in. We've  been in every other game.

We've had less than a 10% chance of winning with 5 mins left in the following games:

@Xavier
@Marquette
Villanova
@Creighton

So no, we weren't in every game except those 2.

We are St.John’s. Aren’t we always embarrassed?

At this early stage in the regime change I'll take it.

You'll take it and you'll like it.

Even if you include all of these games to the two I mentioned (6 overall) that still means we were extremely competitive in the majority of conference games. I've seen enough this season to know that better days are ahead with Anderson.

At this early stage in the regime change I'll take it. If they're still doing this in Year 3 like under Mullin then I'll take issue.

You must be very young.  My doctor told me not to buy green bananas...  My pink banana is getting softer with every game.  Let the embarrassments continue.  That's all I have left.

Being competitive in 8 of 14 games and only winning 3 of them is an awfully low standard

Gotta start somewhere. Signs of better days ahead.

Better days might be ahead, sure. But there’s nothing that has occurred over the past two months that would indicate that is likely.

If I were offended by you slandering my wife this would have been a sick burn. But I'm not. Good try though, because she's a lovely woman, both physically and spiritually. Personally I'd never drag your family into this sort of petty dispute, but then I'm not a rhetorically feeble cunt.

So you really believe the talent is there?

I feel the same way and would bet the house we will be much better in years 2 and 3...took me a little while, but finally realized Foad is not and never has been a Johnnie fan...he has had his 15 minutes....was fun while it lasted, but Foad has finally been exposed for who he really is...now go troll somewhere else...

No, but like I said I also see a bunch of issues that won't necessarily be fixed by a talent infusion. And there's still a more than decent chance our talent level is going to remain in the bottom 3 in the conference the next couple of seasons.

Agree on all counts. He'll go into hiding again when the team vastly improves next year, and the year after, and so on.

Tell me what those issues are that can’t be overcome with some offensive players who can shoot, dribble, and pass. Defensively we still need to find a big or two. The 2021 recruiting class will be key. If we can add a couple of studs we’ll be in good shape. I like the guards their bringing in. Rebuilding is a marathon not a sprint.

I’m tired of losing, but I can’t ignore the roster.

Oh hello stupid. Thanks for writing another post about me despite the fact that I couldn't pick you out of a line up. For the record the first SJ game I saw live was 35 or so years and a couple of weeks ago, I was just a tad then, Feb 13, 1975 at MSG ( I looked it up). I remember it like it was yesterday. SJ lost by one when Frankie Alagia banked one off the back rim at the buzzer after Beaver kept them in it most of the game and it was only that close because Adrian Dantley traveled twice in the last couple minutes. Dick Young was in my car on the LIRR on the way home, completely faced, and nearly got in a fist fight with a ND booster but only because neither of them were real fans either and both had had their 15 minutes. It was a fitting introduction to nearly a half century of basketball futility and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Sorry in all that time I've never been real Johnnie a fan, like you. Were I I'd have faith in Coach Home Run, because no doubt he's really going to turn this shit around, just you wait and see. Because we're due.

That just means it's going to be all the more sweeter when we come in 8th place next year. Because he who laughs last laughs last.
