I have never questioned Rutherford's effort. I'm just saying that good teams don't do things like that. Lavin's teams did things like that all the time and it drove me crazy.

I hope you are right Tony, it really is pathetic. This program has not won a Ncaa tournament game since 2000 and has played on a Friday night of big east tournament since that year. That’s 20 years ago, long time ago.

I have been at every big East tournament since 2006 and all I want is to see this team play on Friday lol it’s sad....and it’s always the same convo “imagine this place on a Friday with St Johns playing” one day!! I hope

The offense reminded me of Norm Roberts’ hot potato offense. It’s incredible that there was ever talk of Greg Williams being a point guard. He might be the worst ball handler on the team. He can’t get by anyone. I hope he gets the training he needs over the summer. He can improve.

He’s a soph who has now played both years in vastly different systems.

The talk was him getting there as a junior or most likely as a senior. I don’t think anyone thought he’d be playing the position solo for 35 minutes.

The kid is smart and athletic. He can get by defenders as well as anyone we have besides Dunn, but he isn’t anywhere near as reckless or out of control as Dunn. Unfortunately, he also isn’t as aggressive.
