I think Dunn is better suited to play at a much lower level. He never should have left St.Francis. IDK anything about McGriff, but if he leaves they should get a grad transfer point guard to replace him. Gotta have some experience in that backcourt.

This was a ten game Big East stretch before it was said Dunn got sick to end the season.

Minutes: 32.4
Points: 14.3
Rebs: 4.2
Asts: 4.4
Stls: .8
TO: 1.9
FG%: 42.3%
3FG%: 26.7%

I think in terms of coming off the bench he can excel at this level. He’s not a starting point guard or shooting guard but he does enough things well to really impact games. He was as good as anyone in the BE at getting by their defender.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Agree. Dunn can really create his own shot and will be good next year playing off the ball. Instant offense.

Strongly disagree on Dunn.  I think he absolutely showed he is a qualify player at the Big East level.  He also fits well in Anderson's system.  Solid defender, disruptive, can help on the boards, good in the open floor and can penetrate and create in the half court.  He isn't a true PG for this level, but hopefully he doesn't need to be next year.  He isn't a good 3-point shooter but let's hope he improves in that area in the offseason so teams can't play off him as much as they were doing, especially late.  But even if he doesn't improve his outside shooting he is still a valuable player to have going into next season and will be part of the core rotation.  How much he's relied upon will depend on what else we bring in before next year and how others play/improve.  In a perfect world he is probably one of the first guys off the bench who brings tons of energy, defensive effort, instant offense and playmaking/ball-handling capabilities.

I think it’s great LJ isn’t hiring an agent!

That’s key info there...the fact that he isn’t hiring an agent means that Right now it is 90/10 that he returns....I hope for his sake and his future that someone blows him outta the water, but in all likelihood, LJ realizes that at this point his options are very limited....

His defense got much worse as the season wore on, and he was out of control way too often. The energy was rarely combined with poise. He has to improve his shot.

I said after the first couple of weeks, he’s Colin Charles reincarnated. He doesn’t have a position. I think his minutes go down next season by quite a bit.

But really, I like his hustle, his energy, and I hope that he can improve on enough to prove me wrong.

the statements by LJ and his adviser make it sound more likely that he stays another year. Optimistic at this point

LJ needs to take this off season really seriously, and get in the best shape of his life. Learn from the mistakes that Shamorie made.

He’s not a three n the NBA so he’ll have to guard NBA twos.

LJ is gone. Has been for some time. Honestly, I think it’s in his best interest. The NBA won’t be be an option until he proves himself somewhere professionally.

Dunn definitely belongs at this level. He may not have a position offensively, but he can effectively guard three.

Not a single player in the country can stop him one-on-one. He’s wild but he also played out of position. He can spell the PG spot here and there but he shouldn’t be running an offense for 30 minutes. I think he’ll look better wedged in between a shooter like Cole and a true PG like Posh or McGriff.

Or get that kid from Arkansas and run a wild nascar unit.

What do you think FOAD?
Does he stay or leave?
Interested to hear your take-

He left six months ago and I doubt there will even be a college BB season next year, after the second Corona wave comes when the weather cools.

Sell your bonds now and take whatever cash you have and buy into the market on the next dip, wait until the summer rebound, collect your winnings, reduce to cash before the fall and buy after the October/November crash after which Trump wins 49 states. You're welcome.

Marfo to Texas A&M. We just don’t seem to be able to beat any good coaches for recruits.

Well, I did read that something is going around. Maybe that’s what Dunn had?

I agree, the stats in that 10 game stretch are better. More than anything, he has to work on his three point shot.
