I watched Uconn play tonight and was pretty impressed. They are a good squad and I think will give us trouble.

One of the big problems I feel with Coach Anderson, who I think is a good coach, is that he doesn't make adjustments well. Its mainly because of the system he believes in. He won't ever change his view and we will always play this system. Certain team that we play, who have multiple ball handlers who don't turn it over much will give us a lot of problems.

It still very early but earlington, Roberts, and toro have all been useless. I thought Anderson did an amazing job at developing these guys last year? Earlington needs to realize he should not be taking the third most shots on this team.

Dom Pointer was useless in the beginning of his senior year. Give these guys a chance to get used to playing with each other. Also, I gotta say, things change, but they stay the same, like last year, we really need Dunn. Williams isn't handling the ball like I had hoped he would as a junior. Still good, but not able to spell Posh.

Agreed. I don't think Williams will ever have that handle to assume pg duties. Very talented and athletic yet a true slasher/shooter. Hopefully he continues to develop more of an Alpha mentality as the season goes on.

One thing I've noticed through 4 games is we really do need more true ball handling from one or two guys. A floor general to set things up. I'd like to see a little more of this offensive system from Anderson. Obviously Posh being one and hopefully McGriff can be that other. He's super green but has a solid handle and is quick.

I think we have to live with the growing pains that you get from freshman. Posh and Dylan will have games like these, because all freshman do.

Dom Pointer was only useless because he was allowed to play on the perimeter. When necessity forced him inside, he was awesome.

Coach has to learn from his mistakes, too, but he also has to give them a chance to play before deciding if they can help the team.
I just pointed it out because I noticed it during the game and it stuck with me.  If your philosophy is to go 10 - 11 deep, which CFC's clearly is, then that is absolutely the right 1st half moment to get them in.

It'd be nice to have a team that had a ceiling higher than just making the tournament and losing round one.
Yes it would. But We Are SJ and I think you're too invested in the program at this point to switch to the another team.  Me personally, I accept our low bar ceiling for what it is and embrace our sucktitude.

It's reminiscent of when fan favorite the Rhombus was forced to play out of position by necessity, only to flourish and soar when switched back to his natural 2 guard spot.

I gotcha, and I liked Phil Greene. Greg Williams has been better.

That’s actually a very good comp. I think Williams has a little more natural ability, though.

With Posh healthy, Williams will never have to be the main PG. I feel like Posh could really benefit from having a very good ball-handler alongside him as well as a guy like Champ who you can run the offense through.

Perhaps, but Phil was oh so dreamy.  I hadn't had a man crush like that since Bobby Sherman was topping the charts.

I liked Phil a lot. He was just a lot stiffer of an athlete than Williams is. The alligator athleticism as I call it.
