If more good players stayed we would be more better.  When good players leave we are worser.

That's if the players leaving are actually good and not mediocre and it would actually be a positive if they are replaced with better players. While there is no guarantee of that that is ultimately going to determine if CMA has a successful tenure at STJU.

I hate the fact heron and LJ are always brought up in same breath. Heron was one of most overrated players I

Heron was a two-time second team All-SEC player.  He was the leading scorer on a 4 seed tournament team and was a 5* recruit too.  His play dropped as he went from Pearl to Mullin to Anderson.  I believe most reasonable people would agree that -- from an offensive perspective -- that list of coaches goes from best to worst and that there is a big gap between Pearl and the next two.

If LJ didn't play this year the book on him to most fans would have been a one-year wonder or a guy that couldn't handle being a #1 or #1B scoring option. He's averaging over 16 pts per game and leading Oregon in rebounding the last two months. He and Duarte are 1A and 1B.

You don't think Heron would have been an absolute stud if he played at Texas Tech or Creighton?

Same thing happens when I post from my phone...laptop and desktop work fine, though.

Anderson's already had a successful tenure here. He just produced the best BE season by a St. John's team in 6 years. That's indisputable. Now can he be even better in the coming seasons? I think so.

Anderson has not had a successful or unsuccessful tenure here.  It is too early to tell.  If we retain Champ, I am excited about the direction of the program.  If we land Justin...I would be ecstatic about the direction.

For a guy that gets talked about like he is one of the all time greats this is success? It was the weakest the Big East has been in forever. I'll give him credit for winning some games last season but he has to make the tourney next yr. Bringing in the lowest rated classes in the BE eventually catches up.

Shirley you jest. CFC has achieved NOTHING here as of yet.  He's 0 for 2.  Ask him yourself.  He'll tell you the same.

We are specifically discussing LJ here. In this case he's clearly actually good.  In fact, actually very good and he would have made for a potent 1 -2 punch with JC that could have been the difference.

10-9 record in the BE. Something that was never achieved in 4 years under your boy. What say you, Mullinite?

Maybe you were while I was referencing all of those who have decided to transfer out under CMA.

Known Dwayne since I started in the biz. Great guy who's been climbing and couldn't be happier for him. Not sure what you're asking though.

Meaningless. OUR boy danced.  CFC has not.

He has just recently replaced Will Brown at Albany and naturally I've never heard of him so I was interested in your general opinion.  More specifically, do you think he has what it takes to make a decent head coach?

A winning record in conference is only meaningless to those who choose not to recognize achievement. Anderson 1 - YOUR boy 0.  Last regime took 4 years to dance. Anderson's already ahead of schedule in comparison. If Anderson dances next year, he beats YOUR boy. The end.
