It's too early to tell. It's hard to pencil in this squad for a tourney bid yet. They have to replace Moore, Cole, and Dunn who were all key contributors. They also have 3 freshmen coming in.
Cole, easily replaceable. He was basically nonexistent the last few months. Moore? I think Nyiwe replaces him quite well. Dunn? Good defender and glue guy but honestly I will not miss his helter skelter ball handling, dribbling into awful spots on the floor and boneheaded turnovers every game.
Like I said the next jump in the progression may be the toughest one as they already had a good record this year. Taking that next step (another 2-3 wins) can be very tough especially when you're not picked in the bottom of the conference and teams are ready for you.
I think this squad can do it with almost the entire core returning led by their two stars. I also think a few of those frosh contribute next year. We saw multiple frosh contribute this year under Anderson. I think Stanley at a minimum helps them next season. I'm hoping we add one more big and one more shooter.
