Really want to hear the excuses about how LJ Figueroa scoring 21 points against Iowa to get to Sweet 16 is somehow because he's not a really good player and it's because of some other factor. Meanwhile we had Vince Cole score 21 to barely win against St. Peters.

Lol your thread

LJ will be this years Tariq Owens.  Oh the injustice of it all.

They are nice contributors to their teams but let's not act like we would be in the same place as their new teams if they hadn't left.

Josh Roberts is entering the transfer portal.

Not suggesting we would be in the National championship game or the sweet 16, but both instances happened when we had teams just a bit short on talent and weak at their position. No question they could have been the difference in either winning a game in tournament or making it this year.

Agree. Was just making general statement not directed at anyone.

I wish him well. He had some nice moments here.

Wish him the best, felt like he was always trying. Defense in the second half of the season improved when he got more light. Good luck.

Sure was. Stanley looks to be a better version. Rebounder with a low post offensive game, something we could sorely use. I'm sure Anderson isn't done yet.

They only have one current big man on the roster. I'm sure it is a priority to get some size and offense this off-season.
Josh would probably have a similar role if he stayed for his senior yr.

LJ is much more than a "nice contributor" to his team.  He is arguably the best player on the team -- at least neck and neck with Duarte -- and he has been one of the best players in the country the last two months. 21 and 7 going to beat a #2 seed for a Sweet 16 berth is big time.

Are you ready to lend a little credence to my "fit" take?  I think Heron could have been a starter on a Final Four team last year.

This is disappointing news.  I liked his energy and contributions on defense and the glass.

I think it was pretty telling that late in the season, Coach used Wuse inside over Roberts.

If more good players stayed we would be more better.  When good players leave we are worser.

I hate the fact heron and LJ are always brought up in same breath. Heron was one of most overrated players I
