2/3 Villanova Game Thread

I’ll start this up otherwise we will be posting in the evaluating progress thread or Marquette Thread.

Going to really need A++ performance tonight. I am very excited but unfortunately I think Nova experience pulls it off. Never one to take a morale victory but think this game shows we can play with any team rest of stretch and the guys will be upset but determined for rest of season.

I am begging to be proved wrong but Nova by 4. Taking my soccer winnings from yesterday and put a unit on St John’s ML +400

I tend to agree that Nova probably takes this but I haven't been this excited for a game all year. Late start time.

Going to need a yeoman's like effort from Roberts and crew down low. Samuels has been playing lights out for them. Him and Penny are a prime time matchup. Not sure if they go head to head as to not exhaust Penny on the offensive end.

Hoping for a competitive game with the Johnnies squeaking one out.

This game has so much potential to be fun and be a real launching pad to a special season. It will keep the winning streak alive and make it legitimate.

Champ vs Robinson-Earl is the matchup I want to see. Good test for our guy. I think playing at carnesseca will help and I think we’ll be in the game late but I don’t see us beating them tonight.

Biggest game of the Mike Anderson Era, win this game and the program will jolt faster than people think, they young key pieces are here and are finally adjusting to BE play, bout to get real interesting, count me in. When 3 of your top 6 pieces are freshman and Sophomores, and the other 3 are juniors and you just won 3 BE road games in a row, first time since 2013, that is progress.

Obviously the biggest game of the year. We don’t have a marquee win yet this year. The Big East is top-heavy this year so getting a win over Nova would be huge.

Any quad 1 win is huge for NET. As a fan, though, I want to see us play well against the three teams that have separated from the rest of the pack...and Nova is at the top of that trio.
