Mo Brown. Boothe should be compared to Mo Brown. They had different skills, but basically, the same frame.
Brown could shoot once in a while, but he was slow on defense, and never learned to penetrate. He never learned to run an offense.
Boothe got a taste of the Big East last year. He played enough to understand what he had to work on in the off season to come back as a soph prepared. We'll see what he learned.
Brown rode the pine in favor of David Cain, and when he was handed the ball in 93-94, he had no clue what he was doing. Still, he was a top 100 recruit, but unfortunately one that didn't realize his potential.
