Seton Hall beat Cincy so St, John's and Gtown are locked into the 12/13 seeds.

out of all the scenarios this is the worst. not only can I not go to the game now, but I would MUCH rather play seton hall than georgetown.

GTown is phoning it in. They struggled to beat Depaul at home.
We could very well beat them again.

Remember, our top guy Paris Horne had an off day shooting. If he gets hot again, and they continue to chit the bed, we could win this one.

Too bad, it's meaningless.

I didn't see G'town's game today against DePaul, but I saw the score and was like,  :o

I've thought for the last month and a half that there seems to be some chemistry issues with JTIII's team.  I know it's gonna ultimately fall on him, but I think he is probably having more trouble getting this team to be "team," more than anything!

You're right, Poison!  It's going to be a meaningless game, but Norm will hang his hat on beating once-ranked-now-mediocre-Hoya-team-within-a-week.

And, the administration will bite!   :'(

Let's not mail this one in as fans.

If Paris gets his game back, and Justin plays like he did in South Bend, and DJ is ok to play, and we take care of the rock, and Sean and Rob continue to crash the boards...

It could happen!

Is DJ Kennedy playing?

I think so.  I thought they said he had cramps in his leg.  Nothing serious?

They said he had cramps in his calf but then when they showed him he had ice on the side of the leg.  Im no doctor but I have played sports my whole life and have cramped up tons of times and never put ice on them.  Hoping for the best though.

Gtown beat DePaul by 8? Scoring 48 points? Geez, looks like they quit on theire coach. Greg Monroe had 6 points on 2 field goal attempts playing 33 mins? How does that happen? JT3 should be on the hotseat

Some of us have had to pay for St. John's tickets ;)
Be glad you don't have to pay to watch the losing.

Great game today happy we got the win. Georgetown really was on their heels while we were on our toes.

DJ and Paris paved the way in the first half and Sean Evans stepped up in the 2nd. All the guys played their ass off on defense.

Great win.
I just do not understand why Q Roberts only played 2 minutes. Playing Malik and Paris 40 minute is really going to hurt their legs for tomorrow. I understand that you have to win today to play tomorrow, but Q Roberts should play at least 10 minutes subing for Malik, Paris and DJ.

I think we called a fair amount of TO's today and used media TO's to our advantage to rest guys. In a perfect world you'd like to see more from the bench but Paris, DJ, and MB3 were playing too well as a unit to take them out.

In the grand scheme of things 5 min rest to all 3 in favor of playing QR 15 min won't make too much of a difference tomorrow.
