Nice to see Flynn get the award even with the loss. The kid has a good smile and it will get him places. Very likeable player.
Think he comes back? Maybe he learned a lesson from his buddy Donte Greene?
I think he'll be back. What worries me with Flynn is when he plays against great athletes. He doesn't seem like the same player. Kemba, McGee and a few others on Louisville, and even Cedric Jackson made it very tough on Flynn this year.
I'd like to see him work on that jumper to open up his game even more. Right now he can only really hit when he is in rhythm. What I look for in a great shooter, like Ruoff from WV, is the ability to hit a shot when everything is not perfect--like from a standing position with the defender giving too much space or adjusting the hands or ball in the air.
Then, of coure, there is the Syracuse curse of not playing enough man defense. I think more coaches should let recruits know this. It really helps them in the tournament, though, on back to back days. They use a third of the energy of a man defense.
