I heard about what happened terrible situation all the way around
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

My prayers are with Kimani and his family.  What a terrible situation.  Really liked that hire and thought he could really help us with recruiting but totally understand his choice.

horrible...i had no idea until reading that, that his wife had passed...ive been through this recently with my gf and her family and i completely understand his decision...returning to work would have been the wrong decision...i wish him and his family the best...im sure the door at st johns will be open for him in the future

Tought situation all around. Best wishes to Kimani and his family. Lost both of my parents when I was very very young but my extended family stepped up for me and my brother. Thoughts and prays are with you.

Very tragic situation to happen to a very, very good guy who has done a lot of good for a lot of kids.  I wish Kimani the best.  What an absolute tragedy.

I came with my cousin to an AAU tournament. Kimani was here with New Heights. He said he just needed to keep working to keep his head from thinking about the situation and to stay strong for his kids. He was glad the opportunity to come back to the New Heights position was available to him. It's obviously a devastating time for him, but he looked like he was enjoying working with the kids at New Heights again. I hope he wins the tournament. He's got a shot with the talent in the frontcourt.
