--- Quote from: Marco Baldi on April 22, 2009, 05:04:43 PM ---The longest distance traveled by a St. John's player since 1996 has been 4,439 miles by _____________

--- End quote ---

Abe Keita came from West Africa, he's prob racked up some miles..

--- End quote ---

4,439 miles: Milos Dumic (Bijeljina, Yugoslavia)
4,296 miles: Tomas Jasiulionis (Utena, Lithuania)
3,333 miles: Phil Wait (Manchester, England)
2,452 miles: Adam Laitsas (Inglewood, CA)
2,437 miles: Jack Wolfinger (Portland, OR)
2,435 miles: John Parker (Pasadena, CA)
1,625 miles: Heath Orvis (Longmont, CO)
1,553 miles: Christian Diaz (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic)
1,416 miles: Donald Emanuel (Houston, TX)
1,167 miles: Albert Richardson (New Orleans, LA)

--- End quote ---

How is Keita not on this list?  Is he removed from all record books?

--- End quote ---

Arent all the games he played in forfeited? I guess that means he never played for St Johns, not sure.

--- End quote ---
Kids like Diakite, Coker, and Keita probably get counted from their prep schools, not their actual homelands.

If that's the case, I think Dumic played a year of high school in Staten Island, and Wait spent last year in the Canary Islands, which may add some mileage.
LJSA:
And Jasiulionis of course played in Virginia.
