Not all women are crazy.  Part of why I can't understand why athletes (and others) get their women pregnant is because most of my female friends are not that type - they're driven, non-sedentary types who are cool with marriage, but they want to make a little money, get some success, and not be that crazy broad that people talk about!
I don't have any female friends other than the girlfriends of my friends or my girl cousins.

That might say more about you than the opposite gender.

You're not going to get an argument from me. I am from the school of thought that a straight man and a straight woman cannot be friends.  One of the two--if not both--will want more.

Plus, I have yet to find a girl that likes poker, golf, is funny, and actually knows about sports.

I think Marillac is right - and correct me if I'm wrong here - but you're talkin like close friends who you'd grab a burger with, or catch a game with, or whatever, even just 1 on 1.  I doubt many straight guys have that kind of relationship with a girl.  We all have female friends - but they often are not as close as your buddies.  It's just the way the world works.

Yes, close friends.  There is no woman that I could go out for a buger or catch a game with that I wouldn't also want to sleep with.  That's just being honest.  Think about it from another angle, would any guy ever want his wife or girl to go out with a straight dude to hang out?  HELLLLLLLL no.

I just don't know why there is no Male birth control pill or a shot available.
I have a friend that is a doctor he said there was something on the market briefly, however men were concern that they can never have kids , they much rather put that burden on the female.

I also agree that men & women can't just be friends.

My best friend is a female. She was the best "man" at my wedding.

She's attractive and has HUGE breasts and I've wanted to sleep with her since 1989, but it hasn't affected our friendship. I'm pretty sure she knows I want her, mostly because I make lewd comments along those lines all the time to both her and her husband.

Maybe it works because she's like a guy in that she has a potty mouth and watches sports, but we also have similar taste in music and movies and she's hilarious.

I actually have more female friends than male ones (on the West Coast anyway), so obviously I think guys can definitely be friends with a female. I think a lot of guys are just encountering the wrong ones.

Well there's a whole lot of qualifiers in there that weren't in your first statement.  You simply said you didn't have any female friends.

I've got my fingers crossed, assuming we're defining smash the same way. Not sure how my wife and 2-year-old would feel about it, though. ;D
