Is Norm and the team....

Going to reschedule a preseason trip to play in a few pick up games similar to what they tried to do last year? I know it was canceled because of a hurricane. Therefore, can't they use the right for this year?

Wondering the same thing myself.  Anyone have any knowledge?

I am pretty sure you are only permitted to do that ervery other year.

But they didn't actually go; and I thought it was every 4th year you could do that.  St. John's had to cancel the remaining practices when the decision was made to not go, so they couldn't take the benefit of extra practice days... so I would think they could still plan a trip to Mexico.

I actually did email Mark Fratto, he said that they are thinking of a Labor Day trip.

I wonder if it's going to be out of the country again.

It would have to be - I believe that's the only way a team can take advantage of the extra practice time (though not the new players, they can't play until after Labor Day.  Or maybe after the semester starts?  So maybe they could play.  Don't know.)
