Its cheap but valid. Its a loophole in the rules. Technically its an upset when the #22 team beats the #19. However if you pick 4th overall team in the Ivy League to beat the 3rd overall team in the Ivy League that would be invalid because thats a bullshit upset. Since these teams are ranked I'll let it slide because it is an impact game.

If you want to edit your picks and make this your upset pick....feel free. You have until game time to change it up

I'm going to refer to you as JJ the PUSHOVER and Randomhero the HUGE WUSS from now on.  Vegas had Xavier has 11.5 point FAVORITES and that is allowed as our upset game??     They ended up winning by 26.

Based on this logic, I can take UNC over Duke on Feb 5 at Chapel Hill as my UPSET game?

I'm just giving YOU a hard time, Randomhero is the WUSS, but are there official rules anywhere?  I just read it has to be an underdog --- underdog by definition would be someone who is favored to lose, not ranked lower necessarily...19 and 22 would be 5 and 6 seeds in the tourney, no one in their right mind would consider than an upset....

if randomhero needs to try to do that to win 2 DVDs he's got some problems...

i don't think it was intentional. We've used the top 25 as rankings through out so it is my fault for not being more specific. You can't fault him for taking advantage of the situation so reward the hustle. Starting next week if both teams are ranked they must be 10 spots away for it to be considered an upset in addition to them being underdogs according to vegas.

–UPSET–No. 23 Xavier 69, No. 16 Dayton 43. Hate to call this one an upset, but I have to. Now, I’ve always thought that Xavier was the best team in the A-10 (easy to say now, I know), but I didn’t think they’d have such smothering defense against Dayton; the Flyers shot only 30 percent from the field. Now the Musketeers are in the driver’s seat in the conference (well, not really because other teams have only one loss as well—but they soon will be) and can start pushing for a 4 seed.
