I wonder if our Canada trip bumps this up a bit or has our spot been determined already?

I didn't know if we would win all 4 games with Burrell.
Pounding 3 of them, and hanging on to win the 4th ain't nothing.

"At full strength, we'd be" starts a lot of sentences here.

at least we're top ten in canada...maybe number one.  i suggest the school buy a satellite campus and we compete there.

i doubt it...but if that's the goal...to be 8-10 in year six, it's pretty weak.

I'm really impressed that these guys didn't just put us pathetically low like everyone else. Someone there may have actually analyzed the potential talent and depth, instead of simply looking at our record from previous years. I'm starting to think low to mid-70s.

That said, it still wouldn't surprise me if I've given them too much credit and we aren't listed at all.

We return everyone from a team that won 16 games.
We could win 3 or 4 more with more seasoning, and more talent.

It's not a leap.

I don't that will help us. We've assumed that a down year in the conference would make things easier, but the bigger issue is us.

Can we finally stay healthy?
Can we find a go to guy?
Can our juniors show even more improvement?

Last two posts are right on the money.  Leaving out last years starting 5 look at the newcomers vs. last years bench.  If they played last years starting 5 it would be a competitive game.

Brownlee                  TJ / Dele
Mase                       Wait
Hardy                      Thomas
Lawrence                 Q
Stith                       Edmonson

It's not even close.  Plus we keep Rob, Dele and Q, the best of last years bench guys.  If Dj gets kicked out of a game like last year, we end up winning that game this year.  If boothe goes down for 7 games we have Stith and Lawrence now instead of no pg at all.

That and the Bigeast last year was the best conference in history, now the top heavy teams have come back to the pack and it's a little more wide open.  WInning three more games in conference is not impossible.

I think Mason and Hardy might wind up starting.
Roberts noted that he was impressed with Hardy's intensity.

It's nice to have depth. I hope we have our healthiest year yet.
Obviously, that will make it our best season since Roberts had arrived.

and you consistently underrate georgetown.

It doesnt matter how "down" the BE is if we play like chickens with their heads cut off like we have the last 4 years.  It's all on us.

If you read full page of each review, they show their preseason conference rank.
They have BE ranked as of now:

16    DePaul  not in top144
15    So Fla       #139
14    Rutgers       114
13    Providence    98
12    SJU?,  SH?,  Cinn?

I believe said he was impressed with Hardy's "toughness"

I don't see Hardy starting.
