For those who saw the game, what is Brownlees game? Who would you compare him to?

A big wide body who can score inside and shoot well from the outside. Very athletic, blocked shots but no name presently comes to mind.

Just wanna say how much this brother preciates all y'all efforts to get us the info from up Canada way.

I'm telling u he is robby before the injury. Rob had a better handle and was more beast. Brownlee is more smooth but can be a beast at times as well.

I had to work on Sunday...thanks for the updates. Nice to see we were able to leave with a W in that last game. This trip gives us a leg up. Go job by Norm and the Staff.

kob, pretty good comparison. ive only seen brownlee on the computer for 2 games but not sure rob's handle was better than his but rob was definitely a better player pre injury.

and kob, i actually wanted to ask you last night , what do you think the pre-injury/south kent rob thomas' ceiling was?? when he committed to st johns i almost lost my mind, the player i saw at south kent was an absolute monster. any rebound on either end was his. he was always in perfect position, he just wanted it more, and he was on the south kent team with andray blatche and he was better, he just wasnt 6'11.  people might not believe me who are just st johns fans but he could shoot the 3 too and man on the break he would tomahawk stuff. a true inside/outside threat. anyone who hasn't seen the rob thomas of 2004 at south kent has been cheated

I only caught a little of the games....Horne's stroke looks improved.  Stith looked like a slightly better version of Boothe.  Hardy can shoot.  Nice compact release and is not gun shy.  Also showed a nice floater in the lane.  Definitely a scorer.

Only saw Brownlee for a little... nice touch from the foul line on a jumper and a smooth turn around J near the hoop.

Of course the commentator called out 3 different names on each play so who really knows who was doing what.

The teams we were up against were not very good.  Carleton was well coached but not much individual talent.

I think its nice Brownlee has versatility to do a lot however I think he'd be better off not doing so much. Too many times I saw him hoisting a 3. We don't need him to do that even if he is capable of it. I do think he will give solid minutes. He hit passing lanes hard on defense, he blocked a few shots coming off the weak side, and he looked good in transition. I feel confident in giving him some minutes and even extended minutes in different situations.

I think that might have been the most people we've ever had in chat before. We had some really good dialogue and some exclusive scouting reports on some guys in the 2011 class from JPM and KOB which was cool to see them two debating about some kids.

I may a missed it, but how Omari do?
