he had two 45 pound weights on a ten pound bar.  that's 100 pounds.

i know i can't do 50 with 145 pounds...but 50 with 100???

if you have money to lose, i'm ready.  (ps, i did it today after noticing mase on the video.)

It must be a long time since the last time you lifted then. The bar doesn't weigh 10lbs. It's 45lbs

maybe newsman was using the older bar that used to hold sand weights. that was around 10-15 lbs.

at most, it's 20 pounds.  at most.

I work in the fitness industry. An olympic size bar is 45lbs and that is pretty standard. I also had a typo last night which I edited soon after.
