What the hell were all of you doing up 'round Syracuse way trying to pick up LeMoyne trim?  Took a wrong turn at Binghamton? I mean, seriously, why didn't you just stay closer to NYC?  Geez.  Upstate girls... some of those girls don't have all their teeth.

Peter, exactly right. Most of their teeth, but rarely all.

You got to have standards, people.  Standards.  Upstate women STILL wear flannel like it's 1990.

In all seriousness, Le Moyne is as backwards as it gets.
There is plenty of shame on Marshall street today, exhibition or not.

My sister went to Lemoyne and she had quite a few good looking friends.  Not everyone that goes there is from upstate.

I think your sister's friends must have went the the cuse'! I went up there a few times during my years at St. John's. They always had some top talent at their parties.

The scrimmage is today and is closed.  I don't think we'll hear much about it.

If we're not going to hear anything about it, it shouldn't have been news.
That opportunity is over.

Sorry you don't think its news.  We may or may not hear anything about it.

Not much was posted online about UVA's scrimmage with Marquette. The Marquette coach mentioned that they played 3 10 minute periods and wiped the score after each.  He also said...

"Then this afternoon we played half-court possessions. Five Marquette possessions on offense, flip it, then wipe the score at the end. We did three sets of that. Then we played basically make it-take it ,full-court. It's Virginia's ball, Marquette's on defense in the half-court. If Virginia scores, it's Virginia's ball again, check it up top. If Virginia misses, it's Marquette's ball in transition offense, Virginia in transition defense. If Marquette scores, it's Marquette's ball at the top. If Marquette misses, Virginia is coming down in transition on offense.

"In other words, you keep playing until somebody scores, and it's really good because it allows you to work on your half-court execution both ways -- offensively and defensively -- and at the same time it gives you an opportunity to better prepare yourself in your transition defense and transition offense. We call it in and out at Marquette in practice -- we play it every day, just because you get looks at your half-court stuff and then your full-court stuff both ways. So we played that game to seven, and we played three of those."

If it's supposed to be a secret, than both SJU and Virginia should learn to shut up. If we know about it, it's news. And whatever story there is, even it's not much of one, will come out.

The Hottest Girls Of The BCS: Big East

16. St. John’s

I’ve long contested (since January 2009) that the hot chicks – The El Caliente – on a whole, do not attend college basketball games. If you went to any BCS conference school (outside of maybe Duke, North Carolina and Kansas) and were able to objectify the “Top 100 Hottest Girls at Each School” (I’ve tried) you’d find maybe two or three of them at each respective school have attended one college basketball game this year.

I don’t count St. John’s in this list as they don’t have 100 attractive girls at the school. Does the university even admit women?
