Hey there is a game tomorrow.....

Also why did St. John's fly to this game? I thought Rochester was about 2-3 hours away from St. John's.

Okay, geography major, it's 350+ miles from Queens to Rochester, a 6 hour drive.   :D

Dated a girl from there in college. By the time the TEN hour train ride was over I decided I did not want to date the girl anymore. No one should ever go to Rochester for any reason ever. Might be the ugliest city in America if not the world!
True wasju. But it may also be the freak Capitol of the world behind vegas. I was there for about 4 hours and got some from this dentist milf. Everyone  in the house I was visiting was smashing or drunk out their minds. And porn star beauty Dior is from out there so that ain't bad.

Dave, you're too smart to be serious.
St.B is an hour north of Syracuse.

So anyways a little funny story, I initiated conversation at the gym today with someone wearing a St. Bonaventure shirt saying "we play you guys tomorrow" and conversation continued and turns out he runs a St. Bonaventure site called...

http://thebonablog.wordpress.com/

Note that I listed his blog on the CBTS.

And Binghamton is a cruddy place, it really is.

Wow thats alot of hate for Rochester.  Just for a little clarification Bonaventure is not in Rochester.  It is actually about 2 hrs away from Rochester.

He is not lying - that is one ugly city. My brother went to RIT..the whole city looks like orange bricks.

Girl I was seeing transfered to RIT. Was in Rochester in the winter-AWFUL, UGLY "city"!
100% correct about orange bricks thing !

I'm not kidding I have no clue about "upstate" New York. Yes its slightly sad than most Americans are terrible at geography and I am completely dependent on my GPS but its true. I've never been to up up up upstate NY. I must have mistaken Rochester with another chester of NY. I could have sworn it was closer.

Westchester maybe?

Let's not get into a "is Westchester upstate" debate because it is NOT!

Who would have thought in a little beach town in NJ people who run sites covering the Johnnies and Bonnies would work out at the same gym?!?!? What a small world.

Also the guys over at http://bonabandwagon.proboards.com have taken notice to our thread here. I'm not sure what they think about our matchup.

I was browsing around on one of those boards and I saw a post where they guy said that Digger Phelps mentioned that SJU is his sleeper team for the tourney.

Did anyone else hear that? Supposedly he made the comment during the UCLA game.

I know, just playing with Dave's geographical challenges and his something-chester comment.  Though I always felt that once you got past Westchester you were upstate.

In that case, and since you are a South Jersey guy, I just want to clarify something for you.
Westchester is not the same as West Chester.
I would not want you to take a road trip and end up in the wrong state!

I'm central jersey.  >:( We get pretty serious about that around here. South Jersey might as well be Pennsylvania it gets a little weird and slow out there.
