I've been saying it for a while he's valuable and using him properly he can be a force. Everyone laughed me off the boards...Here's your chance to hop on.

What have you thought about Dele's performances in the time he's been in?

I've always liked Dele.  Glad to be aboard the bandwagon.  Great game by him today!

It's the first time he's played well.
Hope he builds on it

I destroyed Dele from the beginning...calling him Abe Keita...but he really impressed me today.  I'd love to eat crow on this.  He's a great kid.  One game doesn't mean anything, though, but I hope he continues this.  We have ZERO shot-blocking without him and we don't rotate fast enough like a Duke, for example, to deter aggressive forays to the hoop.  You have to have one or the other or guards will just just drop their head and tuck the ball fearlessly.

I have been saying from the start of THIS season that Dele needs more minutes from the start because we will need his size one way or another and he needs to get the experience and become more refined.  He was terrific today.  I hope it continues.

I also think we need Burrell.  He is the only legit back-to-the-basket scorer we have and it's similar to the running game in football--it has to be established to keep defenses honest.  He also has a very pretty midrange jumper that we will need to end some scoreless stretches.

Marillac, one game does mean something in early December.
Coker played well against a very good team. He can build on that and have a nice junior year. We're going to need him to make the NCAA/NIT.

I think Coker needed more time last year.  If the team is losing by 12, 15, 20 in every damned Big East game, why not give the big man some run?

Coker's been there, blocking shots when he gets in.  And now he's not making those "oh s**t I'm in I better hit somebody and show coach I'm tough" fouls.  I hope to see more from him.  Not only is he an intimidator for our defense, it lets big man recruits know that they might just play.

I'm absolutely jumping on!!  I never had much confidence in Dele the past two years!!  I think in certain games he's gunna get more minutes than others....but I see an increased role for him.  Maybe 15-20 minutes a game!!!

Again...gotta give props when props are due....the staff have brought him along nicely!!!

I always thought the biggest thing was for him getting more experience/time on the court.

he deserves big minutes.  look how hard he's worked.  he needs to score at least ten a game, however, because we have guards who can't score.  kennedy can't do it all.

One thing I like about Coker's performance was the level of competion and he stood out. He has earned any extra minutes that comes his way. If he can be consistently good we may have something. Big men also take a little longer to develop and maybe this is Coker's time.
