After a slow start, the legend is back on target! Last two games 12-25 including 5-9 from three,10-10 from the line. For the last two games averaging 19.5 ppg 5 boards and 3 assists.I will continue to keep everyone posted.

He could take a variety of guys minutes, especially in crunch time since the kid can hit free throws - something many of our guys cannot do.

Exactly what did Baldi miss? The 3-10 outing (2-6 from the three) against Oregon?

Baldi DID miss Green Bay, a respectable mid-major team, where Larry Legend went 18 pts/ 4 reb/ 4 ast, 6-12 from the field, 3-5 from 3-point.

I wish Wright had stayed and our coach knew how to use him but damn, his performances have been really damning. Might be a team-wide ineffectiveness, poor point guard play, but... yeesh, I'm happy we have Dwight Hardy.

They played a tough schedule and though I thought he would play much better than he has, he is still out performing Paris Horne. So that is what he missed. I like Horne and I like Hardy, WHEN WRIGHT WAS HERE TWO YEARS AGO HE WAS MISUSED. That and the fact that I liked his jumper were my only feeling in regards to Larry Wright.

But again I have moved on and look forward to complaining about Hardy's minutes down the road.

Oh and though I like Horne and think he would be a fine first guard off the bench for a good team here are his stats against the best four teams we played this year:
Duke 4-9 9pts
Temple 1-5 3 pts
Siena 4-9 9 pts
Cornell 4-11 12 pts
13-34 for 33 points in 4 games!

But... Horne plays defense. And he's struggling now, but he did pretty decently last year.  Tailed off at the end, but decent.  Larry had an ok scoring track record - but I think you can agree that his defense was not the strongest part of his game.

See the problem with the defense claim against Wright was Geno was the starting point guard playing over 30 minutes a game. I think we could all agree that Geno had trouble keeping dead people in front of him! Still played though! A LOT! WAAAAAAAY TOO MUCH! And he was pretty much allowed to jack up threes despite shooting 20 something % from there.
Just wait till we get into the BE and Hardy is playing 18 minutes becuase of his defense as we chug along scoring 65 points per game!
