  Dude, we are a team full of juniors and so called "experience" who lost at home by 15 points to a crappy Providence team that has 8 newcomers and is rebuilding. 
 We missed Boothe as much as we missed Coker, and the white guy on the bench who's name isn't on his jersey.

I'm never cool with losing, either.  But, if I knew for certain a coaching change would be made (after this season) due to a poor season....  Then, I wouldn't have much of a problem.

I don't think we'll ever be more than decent with 'Stormin Norman at the helm.  I thought this particular team could be "decent," but I'm not so sure that is gonna be the case.

Granted, it's still quite early and things can change for the better.  But, from what I've seen this season (including, the wins)....  I've never been impressed with this team.  I was HOPING this team could be one of the top 6-7 teams in the conference.  But, in the back of my mind I knew better.

Nevertheless, they still have time to change my opinion.  But, I have serious doubts.  Poor coaching and a lack of a point guard, to compound it, makes for a poor-to-mediocre product.

Pretty much sums it up.  Listen, contrary to popular opinion, I don't even believe this team is that talented of a squad.  On the entire team, who can shoot on a consistent basis?  Hardy?  It's a team full of wings and unimpressive big men.  And on top of that, they may have the 2 worst PG's in the entire conference.

Everybody who follows this program knows what the issue is.  And until the nice persons in charge (Father Harrington and Chris Monasch) pull the trigger and jettison Norm out of Queens, this program will continue to be dead.

"We had a chance to open it up, but didn't take advantage," said head coach Norm Roberts. "We got in a rush in the last four minutes and didn't make plays. Not having Malik [Boothe] is not an excuse. We have to play better, make better decisions. We'll get better from it."

Yes, Norm.  Just like your team has gotten better countless times before.

Norm, in case you haven't figured it out yet, there is a reason you have the worst winning percentage in Big East history.

... When we were up 28-20 and had the ball and kept turning it over...i had a bad feelin. F_cking Disappointed is all I can say....but I am not giving up on the season yet.

Only saw the first half, but I agree with you that not finishing the half strong hurt.  We had several opportunities to seize a double digit lead going into the second half, and we didn't do it.  Same type of turnovers to end the half as we had vs. Cornell when we ALSO had a chance for a double-digit lead. 

Awful.  With Louisville (away) and Cincy (home) coming up, we could be staring 0-4 right in the face.  It is now officially a big time up-hill climb to .500 in Big East play.

I mean, you're up 8 on a team they should have been STOMPING then and then they can't handle their little bulls**t pressure, how the hell can you deal with teams with real talent?

We were unprepared. Simple.

All it would take is one simple timeout. A draw on the clipboard saying this is how we want to attack the press. After we got caught with Justin Burrell bringing the ball up with Malik Stith early in the first half and Burrell turned it over there was no adjustments made the rest of the game. He was still doing it late in the 2nd half. Thats UNACCEPTABLE.

You can't blame Burrell there because he should never be put into that situation to begin with. DJ should have been inbounding the ball to the PG and have him bring up the ball along with whoever was running point. Jeez this isn't rocket science.

I disagree with you. I think we do have talented bigs however we don't use them properly. You never see sets being run to utilize a player's strengths. You see Burrell's turn around J? He releases that ball so damn high its damn near impossible to block and he hits it with pretty good efficiency.

Also Dele Coker can knock shots down at the elbow as well on the baseline. When he is in the game give him a look there.

Set some back screens for Evans to get free underneath perhaps for some easy oops.

Shit point is let each player be who they are and only put them into positions where they can succeed. You can't do the same thing you do for Sean Evans as you would for Dele Coker.

dave, agree...i dont see alot of talent, but i see talent, enough to win, enough to be a ranked team...but its being misused...ive seen a lot of teams win with less...and i'm sure i will take crap for this but what good is experience when that experience is 2 yrs under a coach of norms caliber...this team has played for 2 yrs but does not have experience...they still do not know how to play the game...so what happens next year if we do not get a new coach?...we lose everyone and have to "rebuild" again...its almost comical what this program has become...and its not the players fault, its not norms fault (the guy is clearly trying, and working his ass off)...its the admin...and until Harrington leaves (which isnt happening anytime soon) or Monasch grows a pair, we are going to be stuck in hell...another few games like this and we are in NIT land...from there i think we know where it goes

another loss like this, itll be hard to recoup..i had us 11-3 at this point of the schedule...

Burrell was open a ton of times and they looked right thru him, he needs to grab the guards by the throat and say "get me the F'in rock!"
