I think this "NY guy" thing is load of crap. We had NY guys in Mahoney and Frascilla. Jarvis was a coach who wanted players to be treated like students not superstars.
And for the record, where is that little prick Jason Fraser now? Exactly.
If we had a coach that a great plan for teams like Cornell and Providence,
we'd have won those games. Norm used to say, "sometimes, a kid says he's going to do something, and he doesn't."
The program would be just fine with a Midwest coach who could coach. Kids avoided us at first because of the pending sanctions. Now they avoid Norm.
He was brought here for recruiting, and he's missed out on every big name he's targeted.
It's pathetic. Years ago I used to buy 4 seats and bring clients and friends.
You can't offer a ticket to a client now. They have no interest.
Unless ofcourse, they went to Uconn, Nova or Syracuse.
Their alumni are not a disgrace.
