This team is unorganized....timeouts are not called in proper times, players become SELFISH esp. when the other team is making a run, most guys don't look for the "next" pass and the substitution patterns are horrible.  It's almost like there is not enough to separate guys 1-12 so Norm has no idea what to do.  Perfect example was subbing in Coker when we needed offense.

Norm has to go.  I don't care what the final season record is.  He is just NOT a good head coach.  0-3 now, I can't imagine us finishing any better than 7-11...at best.

I did like how Mason played, but that is deserving of its own post.

Roberts is a clown.  Hopefully Self takes him back after the year.

I don't appreciate my posts being edited.  There are a lot worse things to call him.  Why cant we call him Lamont, Dave?

I believe we should start:  Malik Boothe, Dwight Hardy, DJ Kennedy, Anthony Mason Jr., and Justin Burrell.

I would then work in Sean Evans, Justin Brownlee, Paris Horne in the main rotation.  Dele when we're ahead for defense.  Omari unfortunately should only be getting spot minutes right now.

Norm is clueless.  We had the lead in the second half when they made their run to go up 12.  Paris was absolutely KILLING us.  He took three straight wild drives to the basket--one shot was blocked, he wildly missed another, and threw a horrible, late pass on the third.  He was disoriented and needed to be subbed out.

It's sad to say, but Paris needs to be a 10-12 minute guy from here on out.  He kind of fit when we ran earlier, but he doesn't make sense on this team right now and looks confused at best.  His handle is so weak it's not even funny.  He always picks up his dribble one dribble early going to the hoop. That is the mark of a kid who has NO CONFIDENCE in his handle.

Louisville is not a good team.  Norm must be replaced.  It's sick we are still having this discussion year six.  It's even sicker how f*cking bad we are going to be in two years when DJ and the rest of the roster graduates.  WOW.

More Norm Roberts basketball. Different same stuff. No hustle. No rebounding at all.
Louisville gets every rebound because their guys get position. Do our players even know what means? To get position for a rebound?

Please fire Norm. Please.

It cracks me up how the announcers are saying Preston Knowles played so well in the second half.

No, idiots, he didn't play well. He played us.

Paris never has a plan, but he leaves his feet and heads for the basket.

He needs to sit. Not a BE starter anymore.

I was Paris' biggest supporter.  But he's a ROLE player!  He never was going to be a stud.  Because of Mase's injury and how ineffective we were last year, Paris was forced to play and shoot a lot --- and perhaps teams didnt focus on him as much, and Paris did a great job on a bad team.  But now that we have more talent, Kennedy has made a leap this year, Mason is back, we add Brownlee and Hardy to the team, Paris HAS to have his role reduced.  This is something Norm has NEVER done well.  He either sticks with a guy to a fault, OR he totally cans a kid and treats him like a whipping boy (Wright, Patterson).  Norm needs to convince Paris that he needs to be our super 6th (or 7th) man.  Anything else is a mistake.  Paris is trying to do too much when he is no more than a role guy.

What a bust.  We are so poorly coached.  If Norm is not sent packing after this season, the program is done forever.

We were the more talented and athletic team today.  It just doesn't even matter with Norm on the sidelines.  We are going to be sooooo bad in two years.  Single-digit wins for sure.

I'm somewhat optimistic coming off this loss.  Once Mason got acclimated, I thought he played well.  So did Hardy and Kennedy.  With all of our depth this year, I just don't understand why we hit a brick wall at the 30 min. mark every single game.  We can ball with any team in the country for the 1st half and then it just falls apart.  It seems more mental than physical, as though players do not believe themselves that they can win.  Perhaps this is the result of so many years of losing.  I'm optimistic that if we can get some mojo that this team could breakout.  Mason showed that he can be that spark.  New lineup:  Hardy, Horne, DJ, Mason, Evans.

I don't think Paris is to blame here. A big complaint was he was relying on his jumper too much and not getting to the line. Now he's driving to the basket too much? I thought twice he was fouled but there was a no call and he did get some nice buckets.

On a whole our offensive scheme is to blame. We're not using the right guys in the right places at the right time. I'm not sure how we let things get so bad without addressing the problems. I find it difficult to see how it happens in one game let alone 4 in a row.

Paris is playing SELFISH.  Both times he had no opening, and he went up anyways.  He decides he's gonna take it to the rack and passing is no longer an option.

Dave, are you serious?  The complaint was never that Paris was relying too much on his jumper and not driving enough, the complaint was that Paris COULD NOT drive.  He has a horrible handle and worse vision.

He's a solid defender, he is good in the open court when he can run and catch, but he is terrible in the half court if his shot is not falling.  He has looked lost all season.

Paris "Down 15 and I'll pad my stats" Horne.  That's all he was last year.  Notice how he scored five when were down 12, but was 0-3 with a turnover on three horrible drives in the stretch from being up one to down 12?

I noticed you see he's "Lamont," as well, Kid.  But, it was magically changed back to Roberts.

I can't believe y'all even watched the game.  I didn't watch it.  I decided to watch the UCONN/G'town game.  It turned out to be a pretty good game.  The Huskies blew it, but a good game, nonetheless.

I'm not watching this team play again, this season nor next season, if Roberts is still coaching.  You can cancel this season after Cincy beats us and we go 0-4.

Marillac:  We've actually been the most talented (maybe, not by much) and athletic team during the first 3 games of the conference season.  Yes!  We probably would be 3-0, if we had a decent head coach and point guard who was worth a damn.

I'll probably continue to watch college basketball (as, I'm a big fan of it), but I'm basically done with this program.  Fire Roberts after this season; hire a very, solid mid-major coach or some other proven commodity and I'm back on board.

It's meant to be derogatory. One of the few rules I have is no name calling for posters, players, and coaches. A nickname is one thing but this isn't the case.

Personally, I think a name like Lamont is all in good fun, but you are the boss, so if that's a rule then fine I guess.
