absolutely.  There are certain teams, like Georgetown, where we cannot do this against.  While DeJuan Blair is a beast, I think we can and should try it against Pitt.  I have no problem giving Dele the start, but once he gets in foul trouble, I say we do it.  We should go just as kob said, sub in Rob Thomas for Mase/DJ to give him breathers at the 4, Geno in for malik as little as necessary, and horne in for Wright/DJ.

Of the 200 minutes, I'd really like to see Mase, Burrell, Wright, DJ, and Boothe get at least 140 of them BARE MINIMUM.  I know that won't happen.  But I think you got a great idea kob.

us using a big line up has not been working at all. whats wrong with going small. it works for alot of teams. it can work for us

Coker on Blair...JB on Biggs...if anything to keep JB out of foul trouble.

I just don't see how Coker can keep Blair off the boards but JB has to stay out of foul trouble.  Tell Dele to stand there and put his hands straight up and turn and box.

Of course I'll probably change my mind after the first 2 possessions. 8)

Really to have  a chance we need to pound Burrell early and drive at Blair to get him in foul trouble.  And we need to be lights out in defensive rebounding.

You don't think Burrell will have trouble with Blair also?  I don't think we have a player who can really slow him down without fouling a lot.

If Burrell can't handle him, no one on our team can.  We act like just throwing out a big body is gonna let us guard DeJuan Blair.  I'd rather let Mase have at him than TJ to be perfectly honest.

The most effective defense is to get Blair in foul trouble.  I think most of us are conceding he's a beast and rather than risk getting JB in foul trouble we should throw our big at him.  Maybe Coker goes for one of his patented blocks and knocks him out cold.  :P

I also think Kennedy should guard Young.
