Can we just get rid of this guy!?!  He really is "Lamont Sanford...."  Geez!

"We know what our point guards are. Theyre not scoring point guards. We do need them to be pressure guards. Thats never been a scoring position for us over the past few years. I thought both guards played much better the other night (against Rutgers) and I think theyre going to continue to get better. St. Johns coach Norm Roberts, whose point guards combined for 1-of-9 shooting with two assists and four turnovers in the 84-72 loss to RU."[/size]

Sincerely I don´t know many coaches that would say in a interview: "my point guards played horribly".

Neither would I.  But, I would expect him to say something like, "We could play better at the point guard position...."  Or, "We're not getting steady play from the point guard position."  Something!

I believe that would suffice better than the junk he uttered.  Not to mention, the diatribe that I quoted is the similiar garbage we've been hearing from him for the last few years.

If he said that you'd just rip him because he's blaming the players instead of taking the blame himself. The fact is that there's nothing he could say short of "I resign" that'd make you happy.

I'd be happy if he used a different accent for his press conferences.Maybe start with French. Or how about if he came to the conference with a dummy dressed like Geno. Or maybe he could tell a joke or something.

He'd make an excellent Clouseau.

Yeah, there is a chance I would rip him.... LOL    But, at least I wouldn't feel like he's full of it by saying such some nonsense about, "I thought both guards played much better," when we all know they stunk it up!

In his eyes, that is probably better considering what production (or, lack of) we've gotten from the point guards all season.

I'd have a party, if he would say, "I resign."   :D
