Could someone give a brief summary?

Norm went with the hot hand.

DJ Kennedy: 32 minutes, 1-10, 2 points
AM Jr: 35 minutes, 1-7, 6 points

Sean Evans: 18 minutes, 7-8, 14 points, 5 rebs

LOL!!! +1

norm should lobby to turn this into a handicap sport..like horse racing..the competition should be forced to sit their best player...ooh wait seton hall sat their two best players...ok the opponents should sit their two best players, so we have a shot..

A team that doesn't play defense held us to 50 points, and it wasn't because they had a strong defensive effort.

It was because we kept f'cking up our offensive sets.

No Harvey. No Hazell. No problem.

We're 2 away from tying having the most users on at once. I'm kind of sad that happens because of a loss like this. Also 54 guests.....register....start posting.

Wow, that's awesome. But as you said, too bad it's not after we win :(
At least there's not 50 new threads by Mary Lack calling for Norm to be fired.

Just got home some thoughts..
1. Everyone can blame Norm all they want, we lost this game because our guys cant hit WIDE open shots. Paris missed 3 layups/dunks. DJ and Mase missed 5/6 combined from inside 12 feet. Burell missed 3 layups.
2. Hardy does nothing to get open. I could guard him. They tried a few times to get him open, but he is very very SLOW coming off screens. He looked like he was in slowmotion.
3. We had a great crowd- Best I have seen in a very long time. Crowd was into early. Not much to cheer about later on.
4. Played Excellent defense early. 2nd half not so much.
5. Either Brownlee is a bad kid (which I dont think) or they ruined him. He played a few minutes in 1st half. Took an awful shot missed by about 3 feet. He looked like he was sulking on the bench. We could have used him today.
6. dele, omari, and rob thomas all played for less then 2 minutes at different times- there was no reason to put them in and no reason to take them out.

yeah. if its the one i'm thinking of, the ball rolled across the top of the backboard. thats how bad it was.

haha boooooooooothe.  i didnt even realize who that was until you texted me!!  she called me down for a photo, couldnt refuse.

the game was awful.  the substitutions were often bizarre and unexplainable and we had no clue against man-to-man or a zone.  SHU went to zone INSTANTLY when Hardy came into the game.

its too bad, because the environment was pretty good in the arena tonight.

on to the REAL question....how many people saw me with my brown paper bag over my head tonight?!

"This is one of my favorite wins of my lifetime," Pirates coach Bobby Gonzalez said. "We beat Florida in the NCAAs when I was at Manhattan. We beat Louisville here against Rick Pitino, an idol of mine. But this ranks up there. We got 15 wins and are tied for eighth in the conference. It was our first road win. There were so many things. We proved we could play without Jeremy (Hazell) and Eugene (Harvey). We won a game at Carnesecca Arena over a metropolitan area rival. This was big. This was special. They'll remember this for a long time."

We this loss, we are also the worst high-major in the NY Metro-area (we've lost to Rutgers and Seton Hall).
