News Break...Post game fight in Taffner

DJ got into some sort of fight in Taffner. Evans and another player might have been involved. Details will surely come out soon. Very disappointing.

They are good kids. I've been in a fight before does that make me bad? Letting their emotions get the best of them is the bad part. I guarantee some students were taunting them about the loss. People in Taffner don't go to games because they think they're ballers. I feel bad for the guys.

It was a joke...but in all seriousness I know they are good kids I know one of the players pretty well and he's a really good guy.

I think my scenario that I said before is most likely what happened. If no punches were thrown then we're all good and I commend DJ for keeping his cool. Like I said before details should come out soon and I only posted what I heard so far.

Its a shame half of the student body is playing ball in Taffner while games are going on at Carnesecca. If I was a player I wouldn't appreciate some fool who doesn't even take the time to root for me talking smack to me either.

Punches landed = big mess. D1 Athletes can put a hurting on people (unless you're Jimmy Clausen). Pushing/shoving, getting into each other's faces is still a bit bad for business but you can live with that.

Sometimes I can't decide whom I have less respect for, the students, or the administration.
