If the firing is as imminent as Robbins makes it out to be, I would expect an announcement to be made on Monday if we don't make the NIT.

they should fire him today and save him some embarrassment.  don't drag this poor guys life into the papers and stuff, just cut the cord during the BET and hardly anyone will notice.  If we make the NIT, let Coach Q coach them in that then send him packing too.

Jay Williams thinks Norm should get 1 more year, Gottlieb said its time for a change. The host said "St Johns hasnt been the same since they could pay players to stay home"

Jay Williams doesn't have a clue.  He said we made significant progress this year, which we did not.  Same number of conference wins, and one more non-conference win.  These analysts need to hop off the Norm bandwagon and realize that he has done a horrible job.   This may have been the first time I have ever agreed with something Gottlieb has said.

I just got a text saying they just announced on ESPN that Norm Roberts will not return as coach of St. John's.
