Florida didn't even deserve to make the tourney. They missed the tourney the years before this. Donovan would be a sideways move from Norm. Why make the change?

Donovan is a better coach but Hewitt is a better recruiter.
I consider Donovan above Hewitt and Greenberg, but not as much above them as someone with 2 titles should be. Why has Florida been down since? 2 titles should have your program rolling for years like Duke in the early 90s.
Pitino, 10 years ago, would have been the best man for the job. Or Calipari.
Donovan is very very good, but he's not Coach K, Dean Smith level...or even Jim Calhoun or Jim Boeheim, in my mind.
Perhaps Florida - bc of the football team's success - holds him back a bit.
Would sign up for him in a heartbeat, but I don't think it "guarantees" us a Final Four.
