Cornell over 5 seed Temple by nineteen in the opening round. It's amazing that Cornell was able to overcome the handicaps of not employing several genious AAU coaches, academic restrictions, and an isolated & frigid location (Ithaca, NY).

From someone in the building, Sosa was running his mouth big time before the game and the Cal coaches made sure their guards heard about it. Pitino gave Montgomery the blow by in the postgame handshakes.

STJ wore down Siena so why wouldnt Purdue. Temple loss was disappointing. Go Baylor! Kstate is damn good...first time seeing them play.
