Whats the point of bringing in Greenberg? Might as well keep Norm. What has Greenberg done, exactly, that warrents him being seen as the savior?

I don't want to dispute what PMG said because he certainly has had a very good track record lately with information however lets just keep in mind this is not official yet.

For arguments sake, lets say this team makes the NCAA next year...Norm one appearance in seven years v Greenberg four in twenty. Hardly the numbers of a messiah.

McCaffrey...thats a different story.

seriously, this man is not worth $1.5M/year. hes making $850K at VT, highway robbery. we need a change, but lets not go out and jer k o@f to a 4 for 20 man.

The man is recruiting to BLACKSBURG, VA and doing better there than Norm is doing in NYC.  I would bet Greenberg gets us on track to make the NCAA 5 out of the next 10 years or more....

I don't think anyone is given what happened last week with all the newspapers and ESPN.  But PMG is very solid with his info usually.

only doing better because hes coaching in the acc. look hes better than norm, but 5/10 ncaas (ill even throw in next years senior class) is expecting way too much. billy d could barely produce 5/10 tourny appearance.

kid i know your excited, but trust me, this dude aint worth it. i would agree with you more on hewitt, but looks like he just got an extension?

Brah, it is tough recruiting in the ACC when the recruits want to go to Duke or UNC, and if not then Maryland.  Blacksburg is an impossible place to recruit to, it's a football school first, and has a HORRIBLE basketball history...but Seth turned it around...and took theM ALL the way to the dance.

Big East recruiting in NYC is not as difficult as you think with the right guy.  EVERY OTHER COACH besides Norm has done it.  Mahoney got elite players.  Fraschilla got elite players.  Jarvis, with all of his faults, even reeled in Showtime Hill!  Norm couldn't do it.

Seth WILL be able to.  You can bank on it.

Remember guys that the right coach isn't trying to bring kids to a part of the country, he's trying to get them to stay home.
