The real question is why would Donovan say yes to St. John's and a 3 million dollar salary if he is already making more than that at Florida? Now if St. John's were to offer him 4.5 million, I wonder if he would have turned them down so quickly.

I've got to say - you're parsing words too finely here.  I see your argument, but the NFL is a completely different job - it's the next level.  And St. John's ain't the NBA.

Gainesville is a sh*t hole.  It's a swamp and it's so humid 7 months a year that you need a shower whenever you go outside.  It's also nowhere near the beach and full of the trashiest people you'll ever come across.  Florida has the worst schools in the state and the teen pregnancy rate is disgusting.

...and if you go on the sexual offender web site and you will find two on every block.
