yes...if robs athletic scholarship was taken away for any reason other than him violating the rules of it, i would be greatly embarrassed to be a st johns fan...idc if hes still on the team, or still not paying a cent for his education...he has done everything required of him to maintain his scholarship, and then some (vast understatement), and i dont think it matters what his financial situation is, i dont think thats a reason to push the kid around..."we really appreciate all the hard work you've put in rob, and you are a great role model and excellent young man...you also continue to work hard, and play well on the court, but we have an opportunity to get a good recruit in here this year, so we are giving him your scholarship...dont worry, you still can be on the team and get an education, you just wont be a scholarship bball player anymore...but again, thanks for all ur hard work, ur a great kid"....saying he should be happy just to attend classes bc otherwise he wouldnt afford it is not right...he worked his butt off his whole life, like many others do, to obtain the scholarship, and endured much more at this school...his story was on espn...and if we took it away, regardless of if his playing time or academic situation stayed the same, it would be viewed horribly by the media
