If hes not starting on this years team, then with the talent coming in hes not starting next year either.
And i think he may start this year.  Nothig has been determined.  Why do u assume hes not?

Didnt you just post this on the other site?

"I dont know if its reading too much into it, but it seemed that red could have been the starters - boothe, hardy, dj, polee, brownlee. Though who knows."

He was not playing yest.  For all we know he could have been on red instezd of brownlee and they switched them.  Think once in a while.

Think once in a while? Youre the one who has Brownlee at Center

What's wrong with Brownlee as our center?  He's a great rebounder, he's strong, he brings more to the game than Evans.  Look at the stats, Brownlee is a negligible amount lower in rebounds per minute, but has more assists, blocked shots, points, steals and a MUCH higher FT %.  He also brings the added element of being able to attack the baseline off the dribble and being able to stick the jumper out to three.

He needs to do a better job with shot selection, but I would have to think that the new staff really gets him going on the baseline.  It's not often you get a kid that size that can stick that 15 footer and take it to the rim from the baseline.  It's an "and 1" waiting to happen out there.

I like Brownlee's game, off the bench. Hes a bricklayer outside of 15 feet. St Johns will need his energy and scoring off the bench

Do we know that Burrell will be out until December because I didn't read that anywhere.

Roberts left on his own accord, no?   Or did Lavin tell him to beat it?  If Lavin told him to beat, then i trust Steve's instincts.  No reason not to.  Guy's been $$$ the moment he stepped on campus.

I think it was mutual, but at this point we need the size.(especially if Burrell is down for as long as I think he will be) I like Kevin Clark and all but Roberts on scholly might have been a better situation. But like you say, if LAvin wanted him-Im sure he coulve convinced him to stay on board. Same goes for Omari

i wonder if Omari regrets leaving?  K-state is no slouch.  But the excitement here is something no one expected so quickly.

Isn't Omari at a Junior College, I thought I read that a couple months back. I think he will regret not staying around because I don't think he was ever really offered by K-State.

PG Lindsey
SG Harrison
SF Sampson
PF Polee
C Harkless

Hey, some seem to think Brownlee can play Center. Why not Harkless?

As far as I know he's sitting out his year at K State.  He's in Kansas, hates school and is thinking of sleeping with a pregnant woman as far as I can tell from his twitter feed this week.

Get real baldi.  If you use that lineup, harkless at 3, sampson 4, polee 5.  But its really just a ton of 3s.

Baldi, have you been self medicating again?

That's basically putting two wings in the paint to get manhandled.

Lavin will add big men. Hopefully, we'll be deep enough to let a talented kid like Pointer be a 6th man like Lavor Postell.

I agree, I was just busting Marillac's balls, cause he seems to think Brownlee can play center at a generous 6'7

who cares. you're talking about a player that could of been one of our "better" players on norms team. on the team lavin is assembling, he would play scrub minutes.

Cant argue with that point, but some posters who have seen Roberts play say he has pro potential. But we have enough tweeners it seems

I said he had pro potential. Also it would have been nice having another post pleyer(along with Polee) with a year under his belt. Rather than 10 freshmen
