Nurideen Lindsey, D’Angelo Harrison, Dom Pointer, Jakarr Sampson, God’s Gift Achiuwa

Most even with scoring, defense, toughness. Also gives us a bench of Harkless(instant offense off the bench at the forward positions), Pelle (athletic bigman off the bench), Garrett (athletic wing defender), and depending on what we need from our backup pg that game: Greene(for scoring) and/or Stith (for passing). Thats a full and extremely athletic group.

Could be the best yet I'm in agreement with you, but it is all speculation until they throw the ball up.

I'm thinking for most games:

Lindsey
Harrison
Pointer
Sampson
God's Gift

Pelle will rotate in and out with Sampson and God's Gift
Garrett and Harkless will swap out with Harrison and Pointer at the wing positions
Greene/Stith will come in for Lindsey

I do believe this is going to vary by game though depending on who we match up against. For instance, if Pointer does become our best defender and the other team has mainly one scorer who is a SG, then I can see Pointer moving to the 2 and Garrett or Harkless starting at the 3 for that game. Harrison will then be the first G off the bench when we need some additional scoring and giving someone else a rest.

Good point, I think their seems to be an unwritten assumption that GG and Pelle will not be on the floor at the same time.

More that Sampson is too good to keep off.  Agree at times we will have GG at PF.

Lindsey
Harrison
Pointer
Harkless
Pelle

Sampson off the bench plays a role like JB had and Pelle starts to win the tip like Polee did last season.

Funny, but how many peeps thought DH gonna be at the point this year?
Or Justin gonna be the sixth man?
Or Dele gonna start half the games?

Point is nobody know what to expect come October let alone in June. Still fun for y'all, suppose.

It is fun - good way to think about what we know about the players... one thing I think is true - there will be a lot of different starting lineups this year. And finishing lineups, as well.

Zags tweeted this afternoon that "SJU is still waiting for 4 incoming players to become eligible for the upcoming season, industry source tells SNY.tv"

No names though.

Industry Source = Lenn Robbins = lmao

Many eligibilities are shored up at the end of the school year.  I have not seen anything definitive from anyone here or anywhere else yet (since that info should be confidential - isn't that honored anymore?), so we'll probably see the guys cleared at the end of the school year.
