i can't speak for mcnpa...but watch the videos and you'll probably agree.
I've seen him play in person several times. I respectfully don't believe he's like either player. Mason was more skilled at that age, but he wasn't in his league athletically. Jones was both less athletic and less skilled at a similar stage.
I'm friendly with several of these guys who put the various mixtapes together, but I certainly hope folks don't view it as any type of scouting video.
I was in Akron yesterday at the King James talking with one company about putting together four tapes, but my man didn't feel he could put together one video on one of the kids because he wasn't flashy enough (mind you this kid will be a McDonald's All-American next year). They'd be the first to acknowledge that the mixtapes are generally visual pablum for the masses.
Btw, Mo Hicks wasn't there at all this weekend.
