Realistically, could Lavin have had a better first month+?

Keep it up, Steve!

Great News!!!  This is truly a new era.  Since Lavo's First hire he hasn't missed a step.  There is light at the end of this tunnel!!!
The phrase perfect storm refers to the a simultaneous occurrence of events which, taken individually, would be far less powerful than the result of their chance combination. Such occurrences are, by their very nature, rare, and so even a slight change in any one event contributing to a ‘perfect storm’ would be sufficient to lessen the overall power of the final event.

ok fellas i expect the dumbness to come from the other sites but not yall. i hold u guys to a different standard. polee getting sign is very good because he is from la and he was considered their best player for that states class.but that was a down year for the la area. i think with this kid its all about athleticism. u can do alot with it. i spoke to a local aau guy who has seen polee since his freshman year. the respected aau coach stated he cant dribble or shoot but he is athletic as #$%^. i think with hines there u have something to work with. st.johns has a very atheltic team now we just never truly got to see it.

I said the similar things in Polee's thread about players I know who have played against him via AAU. However in the right role he can be utilized very well.

Dave great job on posting this info...Cant wait for the season to start next year!! Imagine a lineup of Boothe, Hardy, Kennedy, Poole and Burrell running the floor god that's a scary athletic team right there.

I mean right now Polee should be coming off the bench as an energizer!  Playing D, grabbing boards, and trying to get to him on the fast break.  Year 2 and beyond is when you hope he starts developing the skills to be a more complete player.  With all the seniors on this team, he fits a PERFECT role.

yes i totally agree with him coming off the bench ...just saying when we see teams are getting tired and need to run them off the court that lineup would be great!!

I guess thats why his highlight clip didnt show him dribbling. But dribbling can be taught, hops and atleticism cannot. Boothe can help this kid alot by getting him the rock high near the rim
