Anyone else...?

Anyone else wish Ron Roberts was still on board? This team would be stacked athletically for years with he and Polee on board

I'll take Remi Barry over Roberts.  Hopefully lavin can seal the deal and Roberts will be a complete after thought.

I wish Lavin would make room for a Barry and a point guard capable of playing D1 ball.

I think Quincy Roberts would be a 1st team all MAAC player by his senior year, and Stith could be a solid contributor at LIU or St.Francis.

I hate playing the "What if" game. Right now Remi Barry is our main target so I want him. I also want to see Lavin go 2-2 in guys he wants he gets.

Roberts is a 6'6 RAW 4.  Remi is a polished, athletic wing that can do it all.  Not to mention that Remis has better size at 6'7.  It isn't even close IMO.

marillac, you've been working out your buddy Remi?  How polished is he?

If I said the same about losing Grace, than you may make some sense.  But since some of the valued posters that have seen Roberts play, have said he is a pro and again, I would have liked all 3

I'm ok with the trade, except for how it might change perception of St. John's to guys like Myles Mack + Myles Davis.  We'll see how it shakes out.

The thing is, is that I said I would have like both. No trades. We have enough schollys and playing time to go around.

Problem is if Lavin wanted Roberts he wouldnt have been able to recruit Polee in the first place, assuming things played out with Omari as late as they did. 

Remi is a totally diff player than roberts...would love to have him...and i look at polee and see a slightly less polished roberts but with a boatload more athleticism...let hines and the boys polish up polee's game
