IMO, he is already a top 5 player in the nation.  He's rated in the top 5 by the three best recruiting sites around in Rivals, ESPN and Scout. 

I'll take this chance to plug the Recruit Listing post I worked on and is at the top of the 2012 and 2013 recruiting boards.  He's actuallly #6 on Espn...

Anderson is rare find in the current era. He has an old school approach, taking what the defense gives and not forcing anything. Dubbed “Zero Miles Per Hour”, Anderson plays within himself, and more importantly, at his own pace. Critics will say he is too slow, but that’s the beauty of his game. 28 points speaks for itself.

LOL I predicted this a month ago.  This might hold the record for a LONG TIME if he commits to St. John's.  Although McCoullagh is looking like he might have what it takes and three years to do it.

I thought a month ago we would hit 800 posts by the time 9/20 rolled around.  I guess I missed that by a bit.  Now I think we will hit 1,200 posts by the time KA makes it official and commits to St. John's and Coach Lavin.

I do not know how accurate SJU79 news is, but when I asked my Coach Lavin bobblehead today if KA is coming to Queens, he winked at me.  That is all the convincing I need.

It's not free. It's an unofficial visit( according to the articles) so he's paying his own way to Florida.

There's also some rumors about UCLA post his visit.

I haven't heard or seen any rumors post his UCLA visit.  The only thing I can recall ever reading was in reference to Shabazz Muhammad and Anderson possibly being a tag team.  Quite frankly, players always talk about playing together when they are at camps and tournaments.  Occasionally, it happens, but many times it doesn't come to fruition.

I understand you subtlely dismissing the info here.  You're a fan of a rival team, and a team who is also going after Anderson.  Not to mention, you've gone on record (on another board) that it (paraphrasing) wouldn't really bother you if Anderson goes to Seton Hall.  But, it would bother you, if he chooses St. John's.  So, I expect you not to take the info as being reliable. 

I'm still gonna hold out, as things can sometimes change.  For now, it does seem like the Johnnies are sitting pretty.

 

The parents of our recruits have seemed to be impressed with our "new" campus.  I hope that continues.  37 days to go!

The small campus size is a very big plus against most competition.   It can be a negative to some, but I believe a plus to many more.  It proves that recruiting consists of many facets of a University.  The overseers of the revitalization of campus deserve a few pats on the back!
