Im going with Brownlee, I think he has the most talent of the bunch and is crafty with the rock. I think Horne's minutes will be minimal

burrell...more talent than we even saw at the end of last year...under the staff hopefully he turns a corner...and hopefully they lite a fire under his ass...ive always said he played soft but maybe im just hard on him bc i wanna see him play up to what i think his potential is...idk if you guys caught game one of the finals, but at one point early in the game bynum got the ball and went through two celtics defenders for a monster dunk...im not comparing JB's talent level to bynum, and im not saying JB should be able to pull off that kinda of dominant move all the time, but i just want to see him, with all his strength and athleticism, try to do something like that consistently...i wanna see that fire in his eyes like bynum had, where he says, im going to the basket and these bitches are either gonna move, or be moved :P

I'm going with Brownlee too.  He just knows how to score (when he's inside the 3 point line).  Close call between him and Burrell.

Burrell-   this is his year. NO excuses and i'm sure he knows it.  I'm expecting an all-BE selection out of him this year.

As SJD said, he needs to develop a killer instinct. Also he needs to learn how to hold onto the ball. Hopefully, Hines is in his ass

I thinks its Burrell but as a dark horse I could possibly see Coker improving. I think he didnt play enough last year but at times he showed some flashes. Hes the one player on this roster who is a true center and he has that shot blocking ability. If the staff can improve his defensive positioning and improve his post moves I think he can be a quality player for us next year. We need a presence inside on both ends because none of our big men are very good down low scoring or defending. As for Burrell, he has the tools and hopefully he can continue his improved play from the last half of last year.

Whats crazy about this thread is we've mentioned several players already. Goes to show you how much potential is really on this team.

I hope every player has a clean slate to earn playing time and who shold be our go to player. I think Brownlee could be that special player.

There are so many examples of poor fundamentals. I think because it's so clear what every player needs to work on, the staff will have a lot of it figured out.

Lavin has already called out players that he sees as having potential.

The point guard is an extension of the coach.  Boothe will get a much needed upgrade with the new staff.

Burrell in a runaway.  For all the potential he looked to have as a Freshman I just wonder whether or not he has peaked.  I guess we'll see if he's reached his ceiling this year.  It will be interesting to watch.

Peaked or not, if the staff can get him a few more shots while on the court, and keep him on the court for more than 19 minutes per game, he'll benefit.  And if he rebounds like he did at times last year, you got a beast on your hands.

Maybe it's a time thing, maybe it's the scheme , and maybe it's confidence.  But there are many ways Justin can be a bigger part of the offense (and possibly defense).  If they play fast and find Justin, he'll get a higher percentage of shots; he gave up the ball at times in the halfcourt, like a guy who was thinking too much.

im thinking jb will put up much better numbers this coming season.

with a better run offense [dunlap] , and conditioning [hines] i think he'll be able to get the ball in positions to score, and will get more playing time [and be better conditioned to do so]
