Yes I know Mason is a longshot to get drafted but where are some destinations you think he'd be a cool fit? Where is your dream destination for Mase?

 Not trying to be a dick, but.....Europe if he's lucky.  Most likely wherever the hell Geno is playing.  Those two worked well together.  Mase's biggest attribute was his athleticism.  He seemed to have lost a lot of it with all the injuries.  Hopefully i'm wrong,  wish him luck.

i think he was a longshot to get drafted pre injury when he was droppin back to back 29 point games, bc even then you looked at his game and saw inconsistency and many areas for improvement...now you factor in the loss of athleticism, the loss of his jumper (which sorry to say wasnt spectacular before), and the concern over staying healthy, and i think there are many better prospects to choose from in the late 2nd round...basically he lost everything he was doing well pre injury, and never got a chance to improve on all the things he needed to do better...right now, outta hs, polee has a better shot to get drafted than mason...mason is gonna go undrafted and to europe, hopefully to make a good living

ok guys not answering the question....just play hypothetical with me. If you could see Mason on one NBA team where do you think he could have the most success?

Hypothetically, I'd say Memphis because of his hometown factor and the fact that they have one of the worst, if not the worst, benches in the league which means he might actually get a legitimate shot if they were to take a gamble on him.

But they have 2 first rounders and no 2nd rounders--so that kind of kills that theory.

I don't think Mason fits at all in the NBA, where he projects as a less talented injury prone Grant Hill. OTOH, with his size and athleticism he'd probably be an all star in the WNBA. LA seems a good fit - Lisa Leslie's retirement left the Sparks desperate for a big body and Mason Jr has evinced a desire to get a media job when his playing days are over.

yea, thinking the same thing...lance needs about 2 more years in college from what i saw of him this year, and mase has nothing going for him but his last name...he may be athletic, but more athletic than the other picks? and he may have a nice wingspan, but anything to write home about?...and what else does he have...i rooted for the kid for a long time and i hope he gets drafted but his offense isnt even up to par right now with what it was his sophmore year...dave i know u said hypothetical but this is just too big a longshot...healthy and playing like he did at end of junior year, 2nd rounder...right now, Europe or D League ...im a knicks fan as well and i dont want either kid on the roster taking up space...jared jefferies would prob contribute more than mase at this point...and they got rid of him

The knicks desperately need hard working team players who will be able to play for them this season.  Mason probably isn't talented enough and is FAR too injured.  I don't see him in the NBA next year.

Lance?  Well, some NBA team will take a risk on him, but playing in NYC would be as distracting as humanly possible, and i think it would be a horrible place for him to start his career.  And I am sure Walsh and D'Antoni know that.
