Y'all are really decisively negative.  Getting the best deal you can in Europe involves playing with an NBA team, not just shuffling off to Poland with a highlight reel.  Those teams want to sell a guys as "having NBA experience" or "on NBA radar", which is apparently covered by being in the summer league (or maybe a 10-day contract, unsure).

It is certainly not negative, its honest. Getting the best deal you can in Europe also has to do with having the right agent.

If the kid has representation that is honest with him and has his best interest at heart he will go get a solid deal in Europe. He is
not going to make the NBA, he is not good enough at ths point. 6'7 wings that can jump are all over the place trying to make the league. This kid has MASSIVE holes in his game that can't be covered up in the NBA. He doesn't do anything on the court exceptionally well.

Cedric Jackson has holes in his game yet he is still sticking around the NBA.  He played in 12 games (and a lot of DNP's) last year with three different teams.  He spent some time in the developmental league a few times waiting for his # to be called. Mase could do the same.
Every kid dreams of playing in the NBA.  It may only be the summer league, but he is still playing NBA ball. The experience can only help him.  I'm sure his agent is keeping up talks with Europe.

The hole on Mason Jr's game are there because he was coached by Norm Roberts. It's possible that after he learns to play in an actual system with something called a gameplan, that he'll improve.

Right now, he's not an NBA player. He was barely good enough to start the BE level.

You and I have NO CLUE what his agent is doing. He could have easily told his agent he wants to play in ther league or the D-League and to not look into Europe.

I agree with this but being a NBA summer camp invitee is another resume builder. If you look at bios for euro teams they rave about players who played in Big East, NCAA Tournament, NBA, etc.

He will make the most money playing overseas. D-League, ABA, or any other american league doesn't pay well.

Not all American agents are well versed with european basketball leagues either.
