Bad news keeps rolling in. Hopefully he comes back it would really suck to lose him a great player and person. Also if he signed his letter of intent, how can he decommit is it because he failed to qualify?

Sampson is well advised and this is what he should do. What if Lavin and St. John's went another route and recruited someone else for next year instead of him? He'd be left screwed. It's a 2 way street. Maybe he ends up at St. John's in December, September, or maybe somewhere else. It happens don't get hung up on it. I hope JaKarr gets his academics in order and continues to see success on the court. He's a really nice kid and deserves the best.
Each party is protecting themselves. This is the nature of college basketball. Making a bigger deal out of this than necessary. I'd love to see JaKarr here probably more than anyone and 2013 class is loaded with bigs. Anything is possible.
question? If JaKarr was in prep school last year, can he go to a prep school for a second year or must he now go the Juco route?
Can we move him out of the top section since he is no longer committed to St. John's
BrewsterHoops Jason Smith#Brewster forward @KarrSampson14 had a great meeting with #PROVIDENCE head coach Ed Cooley and assistant @CoachSimon10 this AM!
Can someone explain why he would decommit from us to go to Providence?
