Fellas the boss has passed away at 9 this morning and no one started a topic??? am i the only yankees fan here. wether u like the mets the red bulls, the seahwaks what ever sports team this man needs to get his respect. he changed the game CHANGED THE WHOLE DAMN SPORTS GAME for ever all around the world. thank you mr. steinbrenner for giving a damn about my team. you wasnt born a new yorker but dammit u personify what and who we are. winners no matter what. we dont give a fuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, I'm a Yankee fan.  He passed, and I can respect his semi-rebuild of the Yankees (and his free agent destruction 80s), and it's sad, but I sure ain't going to write sweet words about him, to be honest.

Ignore them, KOB.  Only a true Yankee fan can appreciate the Boss.  Frankly, I understand why, and like the fact, that all other fans hate us.  It only affirms how great the Yankees are.

Never was a big fan of "the boss" - much respect to GS eagerness to win....just did not like the way he went about certain things. RIP.
