Non-Conference schedule
« on: August 26, 2010, 10:46:43 PM »
Anyone have any more info on our non conference schedule.

So far we ve got @St Marys, Alaska shootout, @Ucla, and as per their website home vs Wagner on Dec 1.

Am i missing any confirmed games or does anyone have more to add. (I would assume a home return game against the bonnies somewhere in there too)

Wagner

St. Bonny

@ Fordham

Holiday Festival

Duke (MSG)

@ UCLA

On the relaunched site (I'm hopeful next week) I'll have a very interactive schedule up on the site. You'll have directions to games, links for tickets, stadium information, TV/Radio. It's pretty cool.

The team is going to have a strange non-conference and conference slate, btw. 2 non-con games after conference season starts (Duke, UCLA), and I know the UCLA game is on a Sunday, I think Duke is on a weekend as well (I'll check the date later). So they'll have to cram more games into the remaining conference space.

Vinny Chase will be there. Damnit I do that all the time. Usually Marillac calls me out on it.

Vinny Chase is too drunk or high to be there.  But if he does show there will be some porn stars.

I really like the schedule.  If we take care of the games we should win, we will have a nice RPI.  Davidson and Northwestern on a "neutral court" will be awesome. Davidson will be top 100 and Northwester should be just inside the top 50.

Then we get two easy wins in Alaska on a neutral court before meeting Arizona State (if all things go the way we expect).  A win there over a probable top 35 RPI and certain tournament team on a neutral court would be amazing.

We have St. Mary's on the road.  St. Mary's will be a top 50-75 team in the RPI.  We should be the favorites here.  We have nine seniors and they have no returning size.  Winning this game would be a huge boost to the RPI.

Finally, the biggest OOC game of the year to me is UCLA.  They will certainly be in the top 50 again this year and a W over them in an away game would be like injecting steriods into our RPI.

And let's not forget playing @ Fordham!  If we just beat Fordham, St. Mary's, Davidson, Ball State, the opponent for our second round game in Alaska, Northwestern, and one of UCLA/Arizona St., our RPI should be absurd with a .500 conference schedule.
